Full re-brand for established family run bathroom and kitchen service, McMurdie & Sons Ltd. McMurdie specialise in offering a full bespoke high quality design and installation service, taking the customers ideas and transforming them into well designed, high quality bathrooms and kitchens. The result is an exceptional one of kind space that is tailored and timeless.
Having had the same logo for over 30 years, the brand identity was very out of date, not communicating the high quality service the company has to offer it’s clients. It needed to reflect the high quality workmanship and trustworthiness that is at the core of this brand, with the majority of work coming from referrals of happy customers. The original logo featured a water droplet as part of the logo, so I re-worked this iconic part of their company identity into a modern geometric vector shape with a new brand font and monochromatic colour palette.
It was important that the logo was flexible enough to be applied to a variety of surfaces, working on both white for the vehicle sign-writing and also navy polo shirts of the companies uniform, so the colour scheme had to be flexible and have enough contrast with both backgrounds.
